Stretch a string across the room and divide the players into two teams, placing them on either side of the string. Throw a balloon into play. Have each side try to keep the balloon from touching the floor on their side. They knock it back and forth over the string with their hands. Game is to points. Variation: Tell the boys not to use their hands - just their heads. Put a blanket over the string and play the game 'blind'. Throw in two or three balloons to make the game interesting.
